Rebuilding the wall at St George’s Church Car Park
Woolhope parish council is obtaining quotations to rebuild and restore the wall. Local stone and lime mortar walls are a historical part of the landscape that council seeks to preserve. We hope that parishioners support the council in this endeavour and will help remove the ivy from the wall next spring in the spirit that made the Coronation celebration such a success. The cost of rebuilding will be substantial and may have to be spread over three years. Please contact the clerk if you wish to help or have any concerns.
Planning Application
Parish Council have been notified that a planning application is to be submitted for a 12m high radio mast for the emergency services network. Below is a site plan showing the location and design. Parish council would welcome any comments from parishioners particularly those close to the site.
