Woolhope Parish Council are working on a draft Neighbourhood Development Plan following the questionnaire that so many of you responded to.
After analysis of the questionnaire responses we consider that the preferred option, rather than define any settlement boundaries within which new houses could be built, is to meet the current housing target by ‘windfall’ dwellings around the parish that fit in with the rural character of the area.
We are hoping to add a design code to go along with the NDP which sets out the sort of standards of build that would be acceptable to our parishioners.
We will be publishing the draft NDP and design code in due course but if you have any ideas for the design code regarding appearance, materials, environmental considerations etc we would love to hear from you.
